Every project starts with an idea and we’ve got pretty good at figuring out how these can be realised into commercial products. We aim to understand the nitty-gritty technical details so you have the information required to make the all important high-level product decisions.
02 SYSTEMS DESIGN AND SCHEMATIC CAPTURE
The system design process allows us to outline what’s required and how its all going to fit together; this includes defining the components, modules, interconnects and interfaces of the product, as well as our approach to the implementation.
03 REQUIREMENTS ENGINEERING
Designing a product without requirements is a recipe for spending a lot of time to end up in the wrong place. Our goal is to help draw out your project’s requirements through understanding your goals, running ideation sessions and workshops, and asking you a boatload of questions you might not have considered. From this process we create a formal Product Design Specification (PDS) that will bring clarity and decisive direction to the project.
04 EMBEDDED SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT
We provide a complete service for embedded software development, including architecture design, process development, implementation and testing. We have experience across a range of vendors’ chipsets including STMicroelectronics, TI, Nordic Semiconductor, Atmel, NXP, and Espressif. We write embedded software in C/C++, but also have experience with Assembly, Python, VHDL, and Verilog.
05 DESIGN FOR MANUFACTURABILITY /TEST
Over the years our team has developed a qualified understanding of the manufacturing challenges involved in creating commercially viable and electronic products. We work to ensure your product is ready to go to manufacture, with no surprises when that happens.
06 PROTOTYPE AND VOLUME MANUFACTURE
As well as being able to produce small volume prototypes in-house, we’ve partnered with well-established and dependable manufacturers across three continents to ensure we can deliver projects at a cost and timescale that suits your needs.
07 COMPLIANCE TESTING AND CERTIFICATION
Ensuring products are compliant can be a huge technical headache, but at least one with which we’re well acquainted. We regularly work with local and overseas test and certification houses to understand and cover any certification and testing requirements your product might have.
08 SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGEMENT
Once your product is in production we can continue to work alongside you, supporting you through component and material shortages, obsolescence, and when unexpected occurrences (i.e. global pandemics) disrupt the entire manufacturing landscape.
